Get rid of bath rings with Magic Eraser
By ALICE BALDWIN Staff Writer
To get rid of tough soap scum on fiberglass tubs, Patty Blackburn of Lewisburg says to use the Magic Eraser. If the tub is really dirty, use all-purpose cleaner mixed with water and pour in a spray bottle. ''Then spray and erase those rings and scum away with the Magic Eraser.'' Rusty paint
Scott Moffett of Nashville adds a note about the tip to punch a hole in the rim of a paint can to let the paint drain back into the can instead of running down the side. He says this would be great if you're going to use the whole gallon at once. But, he also says, ''do not punch holes in the rim of a paint can if it is latex or any water-based paint. ''The can will start to rust and rust and discoloration will get into your paint.'' Shedding sheet Sharon Brown of Columbia says her two dogs love to go for rides in the car, but they leave a furry mess on the seats. She says an old fitted bed sheet fits perfectly over the back seat, and it's easy to remove and throw into the washer when they get home. N Win tickets!
